Ring of Garden
Meditation in Garden Impression through a Ring Structure
This course contains demonstrations as I explore the various effects of brush loading techniques. Doing plant is a great way to study the simple brush strokes reflecting the nature of objects, and also to see the expressive life and grow in personal experience.
Topics & techniques covered in the series:
Editing your basic impression to garden
Clarifying color and value for meditative purpose
Wetting and loading brush techniques
Building contrast between foreground and background
Finalizing a harmonized painting with inner balance
Ring of Garden is one of Zen Garden Series, it will take you to the garden exploration in a ring structure, while there is no limitation for you to create your own type and style of nature.
Be sure to understand that even you are learning the techniques from demo, your art piece won't be the same as demo. I would encourage you choose your colours and complete your style based on your meditation feeling. It is worry free practice and your will enjoy the final piece - the magic happened in your hand!
Artist quality supplies are recommended and the detailed supply lists are provided in the introduction lesson.
